Jake Peavy is the 2nd unanimous National League Cy Young winner. In 2002, Randy Johnson of the Arizona Diamondbacks won this esteemed award.

Eric Wedge was the first Cleveland Indians Manager to win the award.

Bob Melvin is the first to win the award while managing the Arizona Diamondbacks.

C.C. Sabathia was the 2nd Cleveland Indian's player to win the Cy Young Award. The other team member is Gaylord Perry who won it in 1972
